Hotel with parking AND easy subway access?

Greetings all! Hubby and I are taking a road trip to Boston and are looking for a hotel with good, secure parking. Okay if it%26#39;s outside downtown as long as there is easy subway access. We prefer no-frills type places. Any suggestions would be much appreciated - thanks!!!

Hotel with parking AND easy subway access?

The ';no frills'; place I usually recommend is the Holiday Inn Express-Boston St., in South Boston. It%26#39;s in an ugly semi-industrial neighborhood, hard by an expressway and next to a big box mall.

But, it%26#39;s a nice newer hotel, the area, although not pretty, and contrary to some other opinions here, is a safe area. The hotel is walking distance to Andrew Sq. on the Red Line, and it has free parking as well as a free breakfast.

You can look up the reviews here on TA:

As you can see, it gets generally very good reviews, and I%26#39;ve been inside it as well, and can vouch that it%26#39;s clean and comfortable...like your typical Holiday Inn would be.

Thank you SOOOO BeantownMan - this looks perfect!

You can also look into the Hotel Indigo in Newton. It is right next to the Riverside T station, which is the last stop on the Green D Line. Parking is free at the hotel, and it%26#39;s a 5-min walk to the T stop.

The major downside, is the time it takes to get into town. It is a 30-min ride to Copley, 40-min ride to Park Street Station.

Hampton Inn in Cambridge is right by the Green Line and last I checked had free parking.

Adams Inn is near North Quincy T station.

Doubletree in Dorchester has a secure lot and access to JFK/UMass. N=hood is similar to the South Boston HOliday Inn.
