Just looking for comments (good or bad) on our planned itinerary for a trip to Boston for father and 9-year old daughter. The flights are set, as is the hotel (which can be changed).
Day 1. This Saturday. Arrive at airport at around 10:45 from NY on JetBlue. Take airport shuttle bus and then T to Aquarium stop. Go to Marriott Long Wharf and check in (if room is ready) or drop off luggage. Saturday%26#39;s weather forecast is not so great, so figure sepnd rest of day at hotel pool and Aquarium, then dinner at Fanueil Hall/Quincy Market.
Day 2. Sunday. Doing a 2 PM Freedom Trail tour designed for kids. Figure have breaksfast in hotel, swim a bit, then head over the Fanuiel Hall for the tour. Tour only lasts an hour, but don%26#39;t think it includes Paul Revere House. Will then check out North End a little more and have dinner there. May go back to hotel for a bit.
Day 3. Monday. Will check out Skywalk Observatory and take a Duck Tour. Not sure what we will do for rest of day. Maybe Museumn of Science?? Not sure about diiner.
Day 4. Tuesday. We fly home but not until 8 PM. Want to go to MIT Museum (my cousin has an exhibit going on) and Harvard Square (so my daughter can see where she will be hanging out in the future).
Also thinking about throwing in the 5-Wits Tomb show. Is it a gimmick?
Aklso, any playgrounds one can recommend? Any other thoughts?
Thanks all.

The Christopher Columbus Park is right behind your hotel.
There also is a park in the Boston Common next to Frog Pond.
I am not sure what time the Freedom Tail walk starts but The MIT museum is free on Sundays before noon. It does not take a lot of time to do the MIT museum.

Sounds like a great trip. Let me add a few minor details. The weather forecast now says most of the rain will be before 10:00 am. Your hotel location, is not only next to the T%26#39;s Aquarium stop, but also near the ferry ($2 adult fare) to the Navy Yard. If the weather is good enough, you could even go there your first afternoon. The USS Constitution museum, admission by donation, is something a 9 year old might like. The lines may be too long to tour ';Old Ironsides'; but the Navy Yard is still worth the trip.
If you do go to the the Museum of Science, and you%26#39;re looking for a playground, North Point Park is across the road. The park has only been open a year or two and the playground equipment is in fine shape. Hope you enjoy your time in Boston.
