motel or efficiencyThe Flex Bus stops in Wellfleet and then heads on to Truro and Provincetown. The bus is very reasonable and the schedules can be found online

Not sure about accommodations but someone here on the list will surely be able to help you out

motel or efficiencyKatie is correct to suggest the Flex bus. In fact, the bus will pick you up if you are within 1 mile of its normal route. Since Cape Cod is only about 3 miles wide on the outer cape you should be able to get around with no problems if you are willing to plan in advance (24 hours). You will want to take a Plymouth+ Brockton Bus from Boston and perhaps change in Hyannis for a Breeze/Flex Bus. For a comprehensive site with suggestions for travel on Cape Cod take a look at:

Also, I might suggest that you look at staying in Orleans at the Cove, which has efficiencies and is close to town with places to eat and drink as well as easy access to both ocean (Nauset Beach) and Bay (Skaket) beaches. http://www.thecoveorleans.com/ You could easily bike in this area of the cape and take the Flex to other villages like Provincetown and Wellfleet. Staying in Orleans also puts you closer to Chatham and Harwich for a different feeling.
