My family of 4 (two pre-teen boys) is planning a driving trip from NY State to MA and CT in late April. We%26#39;ve never been to the Cape. I%26#39;ve been reading on the Forum and TA.
We enjoy sight seeing, local sites, walking through cute towns, shopping, window shopping, eating, pubs, beaches. We like to drive. I%26#39;m hoping to stick with $150 max hotel rooms. Can I do that?
What would you recommend for us? Where to go? Any places not to miss?
If we go to Boston for two days, where do you suggest we go next? We need to end in CT (Fairfield). Thank you!

I Like Eastham. A main tourist office is there and you can see a free short movie on The National Seashore. Lighthouse beach is gorgeous. It%26#39;s centrally located and is not far from many towns. I%26#39;ve stayed at The Gulf Wing Motel and The Midway Motel. The Midway is on the bike trail. Arnolds my favorite seafood place is there. Not sure of these hotels are open that early. Have fun!

I notice that you got a lot of replies to your previous post with the same questions. Were these not helpful?
One of the original queries was posted on the Hyannis forum, and this one was posted on Provincetown, so both show up on the general Cape Cod forum. I don%26#39;t think the person meant to double-post.
Thank you, Pastiche. You are right, I didn%26#39;t intend to double post. I posted to two different forums that I didn%26#39;t know would pop up under the general ';Cape Cod'; forum. I am not familiar with Cape Cod so didn%26#39;t know where to ask.
The responses on the Hyannis forum were very helpful. Thank you.
Consider stopping at the New Bedford Whaling Museum http://www.whalingmuseum.org/ on your way to CT. I was there a number of years ago and enjoyed it. There%26#39;s also Battleship Cove in Fall River for exhibits about navy warships and submarines. http://www.battleshipcove.org/ I haven%26#39;t been there (yet), so I can%26#39;t make a personal recommendation. If you go through Providence RI, you can stop at the Roger Williams Park Zoo. http://www.rogerwilliamsparkzoo.org/
I have been there twice in the last three years and do recommend it.
I know your trip is coming up and I hope you have a great time. Just booked my reservations for July. I%26#39;m very excited.
Please come back to give a Trip Report (TR) and any photos. Look forward to hearing about it all.
