Fenway Seating

Quick question. Can anyone tell me about the views from the two seating areas listed below?

Field Box 75, Row A

State Street Pavilion, Box 11, Row 2.

Also, are the State Street Pavilion Seats open or enclosed?

Thanks!

Both provide awesome, but slightly different views.

Box 75 will have you CLOSE to the field on the 3rd base side, while SSP Box 11 will offer you an elevated view of the field on the 1st base side. You can%26#39;t go wrong with either. If I had to choose between the two, I would take the SSP seats.

SSP is open air seating with a roof above.

Field Box 75, is on the third base side. very close to the field. State Street Pavillion is a bird%26#39;s eye view, there is a difference between Pavillion Club and Pavillion Box - I%26#39;m not sure which those are. Here is a good explanation from a past post from TA poster Voyagereus regarding the difference:

';The Pavilion sections are located up high, with sweeping panoramic views of the park. Really good seats in my opinion.Pavilion Club has perks Pavilion Box doesn%26#39;t have, and quite honestly, they should change the names to avoid confusion.

PC sections are closer to the field than PB. PB are up a level higher.

PC has an actual indoor club which you can enter only if you have a PC ticket (They check and punch a hole in it). The club is a restaurant with windows looking onto the field. It is air conditioned and a cool respite if it is hot out. You can order drinks and food here. It doesn%26#39;t appear the food is anything special, but it looks decent.

PC also has waiter/waitress service at your seat. Some poor college kids earn a paycheck schlepping Sam Adams to the masses.

The PC menu includes pretzels, sausage, hot dogs, chowder, chicken nuggets, fries, ice cream treats like sports bars, the aforementioned whoopie pies, beer, soda and that kind of stuff. Decent enough.

You can either pay cash when you order or run a tab on your credit card. They stop serving at your seat around the 6th inning. The PC club stays open for an hour or so after the game.

PC also has its own set of rest rooms 鈥?without lines. Probably the best perk of all for us ladies.

PB does not have a club/restaurant and does not have wait service at the seats.

Now, to complicate matters, There are just four rows of ';regular seats'; in each PC section. However, there is a fifth row with ';bar stool seats'; in the back of the PC section. These are just like they sound 鈥?bar stools. I personally wouldn%26#39;t want to watch a whole game in them, but others don%26#39;t seem to mind. Also, you can buy Pavilion Standing Room Only tickets which put you at the rear of the Pavilion Box section. As SRO sections go, they%26#39;re good.';

My husband wants to beon the 1st row if we get the Pavilion Club seats, but there are available tickets on the 2nd row for quite a bit less money. Will the view be that much better from the 1st row rather than the 2nd row?

One row does not make much difference.

I have nothing to add here, except that I simply have to report that I was in section 16, row 12, seat 25 last night, and I want to say: Heh, heh, heh.

P.S. Either of the seat locations you%26#39;re considering is better than mine.

We went with the Pavillion Club seat...thank you for all of the suggestions and opinions...cant wait for the game!!!!!
