We%26#39;re going to the 4:10pm Sox game on 4/25 and are planning to park the car somewhere near a subway station in order to catch the train to Fenway. Any recommendation for a cheap and safe public garage? Prefer somewhere that we would be able to grab a good bite right before picking up the car after tje game. Thank you.
Cheap %26amp; Safe Parking
If you%26#39;re driving from New York and heading back afterward, I would suggest Riverside Station, on the Green Line. However, it doesn%26#39;t offer much in the way of food options. You could either eat in the area around Fenway before you get the trolley back (lots of places to choose from, and lets you avoid the post-game transit crush), or drive somewhere nearby afterward. Riverside is well outside the city, so parking at any of the places around there isn%26#39;t a problem.
Bistro Petit Robert, just east of Kenmore Square on Commonwealth, is very nice. I don%26#39;t have any specific recommendations for Newton, where Riverside is.

wpsaukee, thank you. We%26#39;ll be spending the night in Lexington before heading back to NY.
In that case, here%26#39;s another thought: There%26#39;s a wonderful seafood restaurant called Catch in Winchester, next door to Lexington. Depending on how late the game goes, you might be able to have dinner there. I recommend it very highly. Plenty of places to eat in Lexington, too.
We always want our visitors from out of state to enjoy themselves--but go Sox.
hee hee... I know all the yanks are gonna hate us but both my bf and I are actually sox fans. Gonna be an exciting game!
