Boston in September 20th to 24th

Hi all

My wife and i are going to Boston in September this year for our wedding annivarsay.

we are arriving on the 20th of September for 4 nights. However hotels seems to be very expensive this week compared to other weeks. One hotel site suggested this is because it is a busy period. Is there something going on that week? something big in town etc..or some kind of national holiday/event?

Any information would be great.

Sept is generally busy:

- people getting back to business after summer breaks, early Sept %26#39;re-grouping%26#39;.

-Lots of ';fall foliage'; tours start around then. (Even though it%26#39;s a bit early for it in Mass).
