Hoping to visit Boston in Nov with my 70 year old mum. She loves shopping in Macys and loves glamarous clothes (Not designer!!!) Travel Agent has recommended Onyx Hotel. Is this in a good spot for shopping or can anyone recommend an hotel, Many thnks.
Shopping trip to BostonThe Onyx is over by the Garden (sports arena). Although Boston is small and easy to get around by foot and subway, it is not the best location for shopping. There are many, many better located hotels for that. Where you can stay will depend on your budget.
Shopping trip to BostonOne place many like to visit is The Wrentham Oulets.
The Braintree Plaza has a Macy%26#39;s and soon to have Nordstroms.
If shopping is your main goal, then perhaps the Back Bay Area is better suited to you. There%26#39;s Prudential Center Mall, upscale Copley Place, and the boutiques of Newbury Street. Any of the Copley Square Area hotels will work.
