Heading to Hyannis with my wife and 2 children this summer. Leaving Chatham in the am and driving there. Looking for a place to go for great breakfast as we leave Chatham. Plan to have lunch and dinner in Hyannis. Like to eat at a restaurant overlooking the ocean/harbor or other scenic views if possible....Any ideas?
Good Restaurants in Hyannis?
Well, I%26#39;ve forgotten how old your kids are, FloridaGuy! (sorry).
Please check the column on the left of this page. %26lt;%26lt;%26lt;. You%26#39;ll see %26#39;Restaurants%26#39; in a light green rectangle. Click on that. That%26#39;ll bring you to a map of restaurants in Hyannis and below that, to the forum reviews. (this is also available on the %26#39;Provincetown forum%26#39; page)
Anyway: Check out Spanky%26#39;s Clam Shack..you%26#39;ve got to visit their website and watch the intro video..make sure you have your speakers on: :)

Good for lunch.
I like Ardeo on Main in Hyannis for dinner.

Baxter%26#39;s Boat House is on Pleasant and is built on a dock on the harbor in Hyannis. Some folks come in via the parking lot and others just dock their boats and walk a few steps.
There are two sides. One is more formal...knit shirts with a collar and boat shoes and the other is casual....tee shirts and flip flops. Dine inside or out on the deck. Open for lunch and dinner in season. My favorite is the tender fried scallops. For dinner just stroll down Main St. and take your pick....maybe according to the wait times.
