Jury's Hotel Name Change

I%26#39;ve this morning received notification that Jury%26#39;s will be changing it%26#39;s name to The Back Bay Hotel from May 6th 2009. We%26#39;ve 3 nights booked in Aug. Virgin tell us it%26#39;s merely a name change.

Interesting news. Another website says it will be called The Boston Hotel. Don%26#39;t see a press release just yet from the Doyle Collection.

Does this mean it%26#39;s dropping it%26#39;s affiliation w/ Jury%26#39;s?

I, too, am curiously awaiting more details regarding this change. So far, I%26#39;m not a fan of the new suggested names...

That seems like a really dumb move, unless the hotel is being sold.

Now that it%26#39;s May, does anyone have an update on this?

I read in one review where it said that Doyle, the parent company, has decided to sell it%26#39;s Jurys Inn brand, and these remaining ';Jurys'; named hotels would be in conflict with the sold hotels which are keeping their names...
