Lodging that doesn't require minimum night stay:

There are many requests for lodging for 2 night (or less) stays during the busy summer season. I thought it would be helpful for posters to be able to access a thread with the information in one place.

Please add your contributions here!

Lodging that doesn't require minimum night stay:

The Mainstay Motor Inn on Route 6 in South Wellfleet does not require a minimum stay, though they do charge an extra $10 fee for stays of a single night.

We stayed there for one night last September and found it to be OK -- basic accommodations that are adequate for one night, but not somewhere I%26#39;d really want to spend a week%26#39;s vacation. Location is convenient and the owners are friendly.

Lodging that doesn't require minimum night stay:

Many more hotels and motels will offer single night availability. More often than not, the inns and bed %26amp; breakfasts have stay requirements of 3 or more nights.

Alan: Do you have specific names of places?

CapeCodCharlie posted this on another recent thread:

%26lt; Last season the mid-Cape Bluefish B%26amp;B offered shorter stays. They are located in Harwich and would be a nice choice if you want to stay mid-Cape and in nice village.%26gt;

I believe the Colony Beach does at dennisport - They may not advertise this - but like an earlier post says there is an extra charge . I always think it is best to ask - in this economy and also mid week times there are vacancies - I don%26#39;t think you would be as lucky around a long weekend.

Thanks, everyone! Keep your suggestions coming!
