Hi there. Quick question. We usually go to the Cape 1st week of August and have excellent weather. This year we%26#39;re going August 29-Sept 5th and I%26#39;m really worried about the weather being cold. My 7yro DD is a big swimmer %26amp; enjoys the ocean and pool at ';our'; motel the Colony Beach. Can anyone advise as to what we can expect as far as temps ? I know no one can predict, but historically speaking would be great. Thank you.
September Weather
September is usually one of the better months weather wise...days are still warm and the water temperatures are still warm (mid to high 60%26#39;s water temps). Nights can cool down a little bit, but a light sweater will be fine...
September Weather
Expect the days to be shorter. Check out wunderground.com for historical weather data and you can see what the weather has been in the past for that time. Do they heat the pool at Colony Beach?
I just wanted to chime in and say September is one of my favorite months here (I live on the Cape). The crowds are gone the water is still warm and so is the day time temps.
Now my daughter and her friends still swim in September, its a little chilly for me but its just a wonderful time on Cape Cod.
Susan
