Best School for T.V. and Film major/ minor in Theater

Which school is better for a student who wants to major in TV and Film with a minor in Theater? Boston University, Boston College or Emerson? We are coming out this summer on vacation and want to visit the campuses.

Emerson and BU are only a few subway stops apart and BC is a bit further out but not that far.

All are fine schools. Agree with previous posts you%26#39;ll need to do your research. I believe Emerson and BU are known more for those programs, than BC.

Emerson or BU. BU has a well known and respected cirriculum which includes a semester out in Hollywood working as an intern. I wouldn%26#39;t consider BC for TV and Film.

I%26#39;m a grad student at Emerson right now, and I highly recommend it for broadcasting and the performing arts.

It%26#39;s in a fantastic location right next to the Boston Common, has excellent production facilities, and a satellite program in LA.

Emerson #1 and BU a close second. Though BC is an excellent school, it%26#39;s Communication dept. does not offer such a concentration. Emerson is small and attracts creative kids - it does not really have a ';campus'; in the traditional sense; BU is obviously much bigger and has a much more diverse student body and also a more expansive curriculum. Emerson has a program in Los Angeles and many well-connected alumni.

Agreed. Also, Emerson is one of the few (if not the only) colleges in the US that exclusively focuses on communication and the theatrical arts. Alumni include Max Mutchnick (producer of Will %26amp; Grace) and Bobbi Brown (the cosmetics mogul).

I would visit all. We are heading up today to see BU. I know Emerson has a great program.
