We%26#39;re planning a trip to Boston this July and can%26#39;t afford the hotel prices in the city. I found a good price on a hotel in Braintree that offers shuttle to the subway station. We plan to take the subway into the city each day (for 4 days). Any thoughts from the locals as to how this will work out for us?

Braintree to Boston
There are posters who take this train every day and can give you a better idea than me on the time.
I would guess 40 minutes from Braintree to Park Street.
You should check out Harvard Square one day and this train takes you there.

Before you book the hotel look into the Mariott in Quincy. A little closer and free parking with a view of Boston.
