Need a casual restaurant in the South End with great food

Thinking of driving into the South End tomorrow for an early dinner.

We like seafood, beef, spanish, french.

Any recommendations for great food with a casual setting? Is Toro a good choice?

We already go to the Franklin Cafe in Gloucester.

I love Toro, but I hope by early, you mean early (like, well before 7). Otherwise, be prepared to wait. The place is seemingly recession-proof.

Some other places I like are B%26amp;G Oysters, Estragon, Petit Robert, Metropolis, the Deluxe, and Pops.
