good sushi in Boston

We are on our way to Boston May 2-7th and would like to have sushi one evening when we are there. We are staying at the Fairmount so something within walking distance.

Also, it looks as if the Bruins are in the playoffs, where is the best bet to get two tickets to see a game. I realize we might have to pay $$$$$ since these are the playoffs.

This place is very small. And it is a B.Y.O.B. as well.

This place is a guarantee hit. Pleasing to the eye as well as the palette.

High volume so the food is very fresh.

The sushi bar is fun. And some of the private dinning rooms/booths fun.

This place is fine for 1 or 20 people to a party

South Street, actually, of Oh-Ya Sushi. Right near South Station.

You might be able to get Bruins playoffs tickets directly from the box office. bostonbruins.com If not, try Stub Hub, Ace Ticket or eBay.

O Ya is not really a ';sushi place.'; It is a super-high-end Japanese-inspired restaurant which does include some raw fish items, but to call it a sushi place is a bit misleading.

Douzo and Oishii are both excellent. Douzo is barely more than a block from Fairmont Copley Plaza. Fugyaku is also good, but might be a bit out of the way for you.

Thank you soooooooooo much for the quick responses to my sushi question. I will check out all the recommendations before I leave. The place close to our hotel sounds good..........just in case I am tired from shopping all day.
