Cranberry festival

Does anyone know when the Cranberry festival will be this year?

we are coming to the Cape from Sept 12th to the 17th.

Are there any special events going on that week?

If you are refering to teh Harwich Cranberry Festival, they did not have one last year, and I%26#39;m not sure if they%26#39;re having one this year either....even so, that is a nice time of year to visit the Cape.

They did have the cranberry festival last year. It was Sept. 13 and 14th. However it did rain so we didn%26#39;t go.

Can%26#39;t think of any big ';festival'; going on right now, but September is a great time on the Cape. The weather is usually nice and warm, and most things are still open. I%26#39;m sure there will be some local ';happenings'; on the weekends. I%26#39;ll keep an eye out for any announcements that might pop up over the next few months. Keep checking the local newspaper%26#39;s website too: www.capecodonline.com

I have to say: The Cranberry Festival was a consistent let-down to many. Very crowded, I know, but you%26#39;d be hard pressed to find even one cranberry anything while there.

The organizers did the best job they could with bus shuttles etc. but it all became more trouble that it was worth, imo.

The biggest draw was always the Huge craft fair with crafters from all over the U.S. You%26#39;ll find plenty of these fairs in the early fall months on the Cape along with outside art shows.

Another idea: Pull out Cape Week from the Cape Cod Times when you arrive on Cape. They list the current happenings on the Cape.

One more question.

Does anyone know a reasonably priced photgrapher that takes pictures on the beach. We are staying in Hyannis and would like to have the pictures done in that area.
