5 Night Shopping Tour of New England, advice please !

Hubby has treated us (me!) to a trip, flying into NY %26amp; then out of Boston.

We are spending 2 nights in NT city %26amp; then thinking of taking a car %26amp; driving up to Woodbury Common Premium outlet, which has a Ralph Lauren home shop that I would like to visit.

I am also very keen to get to Freeport, Maine %26amp; North Conway for Settlers Green, then meander back, hopefully via the Yorks, Kittery, maybe Province Town.

Not sure the best way (or if it%26#39;s possible) to do this in a 7 night trip ? (effectively 5 nights because 2 nights are in NY)

We are off in 2 weeks, so need to get a move on with our plans : - )

When you%26#39;re on a mission of shopping like that you can do anything! You%26#39;ll be fine doing this in a 7 night trip, trust me, I%26#39;m a shopper!

The Woodbury Common Premium Outlet sounds like a plan. I wouldn%26#39;t mind going there myself. It%26#39;s got over 220 outlet stores there, much more than Settlers Green in No. Conway %26amp; the Kittery Outlets in Maine where there%26#39;s 120 outlet stores. I go to Kittery a lot, I like their Edie Beauer outlet %26amp; their Jones store. For kids they have ';Hartstrings'; that%26#39;s wonderful. There%26#39;s also a Polo Ralph Lauren outlet that we like to hit there.

You should check out the Port Inn in Portsmouth to see if they have rooms available. It%26#39;s in a great location for both No. Conway where the Spaulding turnpike is right there %26amp; also for getting to Kittery, this Inn is located right at the Portsmouth traffic circle (the roundabout to you!) It would be ideal if you could stay there for this shopping excursion for these two destinations:

Have a wonderful time, it sounds like a plan to me!

Well, since Hubby is treating you maybe you can stop here on the way north from NYC:

There is a shop in Foxboro, MA. The ultimate man store!

Another thought for you is to stay in Freeport overnight at the Harraseeket Inn during this jaunt. If you don%26#39;t stay there overnight then you could have lunch there or something. It%26#39;s one place that you will really enjoy while you%26#39;re shopping there any way:

thanks for your help, all very helpful - we are now having a dilemma on how to get from Woodbury, travelling north.

Do you think we should give settlers green a miss ?

Can anyone recommend where we can stay, say no more than 2 hours drive from Woodbury Common ? I mean the area, rather than accommodation (although accommodation would be great too !)

Thanks

If you are driving up to Boston you will want to stop at Wrentham Village Premium Outlets on the way also on Boston.com check out New England outlets guide. Check at the outlets if you are a member of the AA you could be intitled to a discount booklet we bought one at Wrentham in NY and Boston in Macy%26#39;s go to the customer information desk show your passport we were given a discount card for 11% even off sale items DW made good use of it on shoes buying Nine West for $ what we pay in 拢 mind you this was last April when we got a good exchange rate. Also in Boston try Marshall%26#39;s on Boyleston, a bit like TK Max.
