Longterm Logan parking options

In the past we have paid the ridiculous price for LOGAN longterm parking but I have now heard of a few offsite lots that offer a free shuttle: Preflight or Park, Shuttle %26amp; Fly. I realize another option is the economy lots at Logan with shuttle.

Our flight out is a sunday at 8:30 AM, returning ona Sunday at 6:45PM.

Prices seem to be comparable for the three so i am wondering if anyone can comment on convenience /reliability/safety of car in the lots?

Thanks in advance!

Longterm Logan parking options

Hi, I posted a similar question in October and got a lot of good advice Here is the link to the thread

Also, given that you are leaving early in the morning - have you considered spending the night at the Holiday Inn at the airport - we did it a few years ago and you could leave your car there for up to two weeks for the price of one night, which worked out really well for us - they do have a shuttle. You might want to check that option out.

Longterm Logan parking options

just to be clear, I meant for the price of one night%26#39;s stay in the hotel.

I have used the Holiday Inn overnight option a few times in the past, and at the time, it worked out great. However, two or three years ago they raised their room rates dramatically. Since then, I have used the park-and-fly option at the Sheraton Four Points in Revere several times--much more reasonable. However, I haven%26#39;t checked the rates lately.

My only issue with the Sheraton Four Points is that the design of their front entrance allows the wind to come into the lobby virtually unimpeded every time the door opens, and since all of my stays there have been in February, this has made for a very uncomfortable check-in experience. The attendants working the desk at those times should earn hardship pay.

I have also used PreFlight Logan Parking to park without a hotel stay, and found it fine.

I continue to see the pre flight shuttles at Logan. One goes by every 5-7 minutes.

I%26#39;ve heard good things about Preflight, but I haven%26#39;t tried it myself. Their rate is cheaper if you print out the coupon on their website.

Last weekend we parked at the Logan%26#39;s Economy lot. I don%26#39;t think I would recommend it. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes, and the lot itself is really drab and depressing. It is located across the street from the Blue Line Airport Station, so the plus is that it%26#39;s not that far and the ride is short. While the lot is depressing, I think it%26#39;s fairly safe. However, the infrequent running of the shuttle is just unacceptable for the price it charges.

Thanks for the feedback. I printed out coupons for preflight and park, shutttle %26amp; fly. Preflight seems like the best deal.

I read some complaints about the unreliability of pickup from park, shuttle %26amp; fly so i am leaning toward preflight although it seems like it is not as close to logan or as convenient.

I don%26#39;t really mind leaving the keys as that is what we do in our home airport parking/shuttle and the vehicle isn;t brand spanking new so the closeness of parked vehicles doesn%26#39;t concern me too much. But I appreciate all the comments and advice!

Thanks again.

kendrick: thanks for that older link..very helpful

I definitely recommend Pre-flight. We%26#39;ve used them several times, and the web coupon is an added bonus. We%26#39;ve never waited more than five minutes for a pickup, even at odd hours, and the service has always been great.

Our favorite is Thrifty. $97 weekly rate, less 10% with online coupon. The shuttles run frequently (always comes along within a few minutes). Then, the driver calls in ticket numbers so your car is ready right there for you by the time you get to the lot.
